Features of these face masks:

1. These face masks have an outer layer of Cotton and/or Polyester Fabric – providing a decorative exterior while also protecting the  interior filter layer.
2. The inner white layer is Filti Brand Non-Woven Polypropylene (NWPP). This is a 3-layer filter material commonly used in surgical face masks.  According to the Filti website, it has a MERV rating of 16 and will filter up to 95% of sub-micron particles, including bacteria and viruses. 3. Cotton and/or Polyester thread is used to join the layers with the outer edges finished by a Serger to ensure long-life with no fabric fraying. 
4. A nose bridge wire made from 18ga Stainless Steel wire allows you to conform the mask to your nose giving a very good fit with little to no air leakage around the mask.
5. There are (2) 3-5mm elastic ear bands with sliding length adjustment and color-coded ends (Red = Right Ear) to make mask adjustment and placement easier.
6. These mask(s) can be gently hand-washed after several uses in hot water with a small amount of clothes washing detergent.  With care, the masks should last for several months.
